Hip-hop sensation Kneecap is set to headline a significant charity concert at Belfast's Falls Park on August 6 as part of the Féile an Phobail community arts festival. This special "Uppa Falls" gig aims to raise substantial funds for vital Irish language initiatives.
All proceeds from the event will be channeled into two key projects: Glór na Móna's new Irish medium youth and community hub, Croí na Carraige, in West Belfast, and Seán Dolan's GAC's "An tSíol" initiative in Derry City. Organizers are projecting a six-figure sum to be raised.
Other artists joining Kneecap on the bill include punk duo Bob Vylan, Miss Kaninna, and Liambo Slice. Féile an Phobail, established in 1988, will host approximately 700 events between July 25 and August 9.
