Karan Johar's directorial venture, 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna,' released in August 2006, explored complex relationships and infidelity. Now, a new web series titled 'Nazdeekiyan,' backed by Johar, is reportedly drawing inspiration from this acclaimed film.
The upcoming series promises a contemporary examination of duty, loyalty, and desire. While the production house aimed to revisit the themes explored in the movie, the narrative of 'Nazdeekiyan' will feature distinct situations and settings for its lead characters.
Directed by Ruchir Arun, 'Nazdeekiyan' is expected to comprise 20 episodes. The series will star Taha Shah Badussha and Nikita Dutta in the lead roles and is scheduled to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The official release date, however, is yet to be announced.
