Apa confirmed he has discussed the possibility of cameos with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who serves as chief creative officer of Archie Comics and is showrunning the new series. While he doesn't have a specific role in mind, Apa finds the idea of a brief appearance appealing.
The new series, Afterlife With Archie, is described as a nightmarish take on Riverdale, transformed into a zombie-infested hellscape.
