Kiss is bringing its "Kiss Forever" immersive avatar show to Las Vegas in 2028. Founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley discussed the project at PollStar Live!, aiming to create an experience that surpasses current technological attractions, including the Las Vegas Sphere. They intend for the Kiss avatars to be central to the show, differing from passive screen-based attractions.
Pophouse Entertainment, the Swedish firm behind ABBA Voyage, is developing the "Kiss Forever" avatars. Paul Stanley noted the realism achieved, likening it to the lifelike ABBA 'ABBAtars.' While Kiss debuted avatars in December 2023, these were described as prototypes, with the upcoming show incorporating advanced pyro and LED effects for a '4D roller coaster ride' experience.
Beyond the avatar show, the band's representatives also discussed their extensive merchandising success and the upcoming "Kiss Kruise: Land-Locked" convention in November. The "Kiss Forever" show is anticipated to offer unprecedented fan interactions, with the avatars acting as guides through distinct 'Kiss worlds.'
