Kapil Sharma Film Battles Dhurandhar for Screens
14 Dec
Summary
- Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 faces strong competition from Dhurandhar.
- The film earned 2.50 crores on its second day.
- It has surpassed Kapil Sharma's last theatrical release, Zwigato.

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, featuring Kapil Sharma in the lead, released on December 12, 2025, and is facing intense competition from the film Dhurandhar. This rivalry has noticeably affected audience turnout, with Dhurandhar receiving preferential screen allocation due to high demand. Despite these challenges, the comedy-drama has managed to outperform Sharma's last theatrical release.
On its second day, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 garnered 2.50 crores at the Indian box office. Although this represents a weekend boost, the collection saw only a modest 35% increase from the previous day. The strong performance of Dhurandhar has overshadowed the new release, and insufficient positive word-of-mouth has not been enough to drive substantial footfalls.
Kapil Sharma's previous film, Zwigato, released in 2022, was a box office disappointment, earning a total of 1.84 crores. In contrast, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has already surpassed this figure with its opening day collection. The film is now positioned as Sharma's third highest-grossing movie, with the next goal being to exceed the 10 crore lifetime collection of Firangi from 2017.
