Kinoteka Festival: Wajda's Legacy Lives On

The 24th Kinoteka Polish Film Festival is set to run in London from February 4 to March 29, 2026. This year's event highlights the centenary of acclaimed filmmaker Andrzej Wajda with an extensive retrospective.
The festival opens at BFI Southbank with a 35mm screening of Wajda's "Ashes and Diamonds." The retrospective, a collaboration with BFI, ICA, and Ciné Lumière, includes other key films and events.
Closing the festival at Ciné Lumière is Maciej Sobieszczański's "Brother." The event also features new Polish cinema, including Jan Komasa's "Good Boy" and "Anniversary," and Agnieszka Holland's "Franz."
