Warhorse Studios has unexpectedly released a 'NextGen Update' for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, enhancing the experience for players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. This update brings native ports for the current generation consoles, significantly improving graphical fidelity. Players can now enjoy visuals equivalent to the 'Ultra' configuration on PC, complete with high-resolution textures and a 4K picture.
The performance has also been notably upgraded, with all consoles targeting up to 60 frames per second, bolstered by FSR upscaling and anti-aliasing technologies. This marks a substantial leap from the original 30fps experience on PS4 and Xbox One, aligning the game more closely with its sequel.
In addition to graphical and performance enhancements, the update includes smaller but welcome additions such as Deep Silver account linking and new Czech and Japanese voice-over options. Existing console owners will receive this comprehensive upgrade completely free of charge, allowing them to experience the game anew.
