King Gnu's song "AIZO" has surged to the top of the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart for the week of February 18. Initially released digitally on January 9, the track for the anime Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 climbed to the summit in its sixth week after its February 11 CD release, selling 68,441 copies.
This marks the third time King Gnu has secured the No. 1 position on the chart, following previous successes with "Ichizu" and "Chameleon." Meanwhile, Kenshi Yonezu's "IRIS OUT" holds steady at No. 2, topping streaming, video views, and karaoke for another week.
Hey! Say! JUMP's "Hanikami," the theme for the drama series 50-pun kan no Koibito, debuted at No. 3 with impressive sales of 230,578 copies. Other notable entries include Mrs. GREEN APPLE's "lulu." at No. 4 and M!LK's "Suki Sugite Metsu!" at No. 5. M!LK also saw their new digital single "Bakuretsu Aishiteru" debut at No. 6.
