King Charles 'Looks Weak' After Harry & Meghan Visit

A recent private family meeting between King Charles and his son Prince Harry, along with Meghan Markle and their children, may have inadvertently weakened the King's public image, according to a royal expert. The gathering, which marked the first time King Charles had seen his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet in more than four years, was confirmed by Buckingham Palace but no photographs were released.

Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield stated that the reunion could make King Charles appear 'weak.' She posited that the King's motives might have been more personal, focusing on his legacy and wanting to be perceived as someone who did everything possible to mend his relationship with Prince Harry.

Schofield suggested that King Charles might have intended to 'tick the box' of being a father who didn't reject his son, potentially allowing him to distance himself if future reconciliation efforts fail. However, she concluded that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle likely gained more from the reunion, particularly in terms of public perception, securing a needed 'win.'
