Kim Kardashian Forgives Man's Debt

Kim Kardashian has decided not to collect a six-figure sum owed to her. This decision comes after a man named Ivan Cantu sued the celebrity.

Cantu had sued Kardashian after she posted his photograph, intending to use an image of a different individual with the same name. Kardashian's intent was to advocate for an inmate on death row. Cantu lost his lawsuit and was ordered to pay Kardashian's legal fees.

However, Cantu argued that paying the judgment would lead to his financial ruin. A representative for Kardashian stated that the lawsuit was baseless and that the court had agreed. Kim has now waived the fees, leading Cantu to dismiss his case with prejudice.

The non-prisoner Ivan sought damages from Kardashian for alleged harm caused by the post. Kardashian denied wrongdoing, asserting she removed the image upon realizing it was incorrect. The court sided with Kardashian, dismissing all claims and awarding her $167,000 in legal fees. Cantu's appeal has now been dropped following the agreement.
