Zeta-Jones Fights Deadly Hitmen in New Thriller

AMC+ is set to premiere its gripping new revenge thriller series, "Kill Jackie," on Friday, October 2. The show stars and is executive produced by Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Jackie Price.

Jackie has spent two decades living a discreet life, enjoying luxury and anonymity after escaping her past as a global drug smuggler. However, her quiet existence is shattered when she discovers she is the target of The Seven Demons, a notorious group of elite hitmen. Believing someone from her past is behind the contract, Jackie decides to proactively dismantle the assassins one by one.

As Jackie delves into her dangerous plan, she uncovers that her own buried secrets and inner demons pose a greater threat than the killers pursuing her. The series explores the surprising consequences that arise from confronting her hidden past.

"Kill Jackie" is based on the Sunday Times bestselling novel "The Price You Pay" by Nick Harkaway, writing as Aidan Truhen. The cast also features Daniel Ings, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Óscar Jaenada, and Ron Perlman, among others. New episodes will be released weekly.

The series is co-created by Conor Keane, Tom Butterworth, Peter Lawson, and Damon Thomas. It is co-produced by Fremantle and Steel Springs Pictures. Damon Thomas serves as lead director, with Butterworth as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Nick Harkaway is an executive consultant.
