Rapper Kevin Gates must now transfer a substantial amount from his music catalog sale to his estranged wife, Dreka Gates. Court documents reveal that all funds from the sale will initially be deposited into a managed account. From this fund, Dreka Gates is allocated $929,341.50 for child and spousal support, with an additional $150,000 directly to her.
Kevin Gates is slated to receive $538,798 immediately from the sale. He will also be provided with $225,000 on a monthly basis, commencing in October 2026. Legal fees are also being settled, with Dreka's lawyers receiving $125,000, her accountant $100,000, and a mediation service $103,000.
The divorce between Kevin and Dreka has been notably difficult. Previously, Kevin publicly accused Dreka of theft during their marriage, claims her attorney vehemently denied as false. Last October (2025), Dreka stated Kevin had ceased financial support for her and their children in 2021.
