Kesha's Mom Pebe Sebert Releases Debut Album After Decades

In a surprising announcement, Pebe Sebert, the mother of renowned singer Kesha, has revealed that she will be releasing her debut solo album on December 12th. The 11-song record, which will be released under Kesha's own label Kesha Records, features Sebert's original recordings from the 1980s.

Sebert, a seasoned singer-songwriter who has collaborated with the likes of Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus, had previously shelved these recordings due to personal struggles with substance abuse. However, last year, she rediscovered the tapes and worked with producer Guy Roche to bring the music back to life.

The album's first single, "City's Burning," was released just hours before the announcement, following previous tracks "Vampire" and "Hard Times Ahead."
