Keri Russell, known for her roles in "The Diplomat" and "The Americans," shared in a recent interview that she doesn't consider herself particularly famous. She and her partner, fellow actor Matthew Rhys, enjoy a life where they feel "people don't really care about us," a contrast to the intensely public lives of some of their celebrity neighbors.

Russell elaborated on her perceived level of fame by noting that she sometimes has to purchase her own gowns for awards ceremonies, a task typically handled by designers for more renowned celebrities. "I sometimes can't get a dress, because I am not, you know, someone famous," she stated, finding her current situation "perfect."

Reflecting on her early career, Russell recalled her time on "The All New Mickey Mouse Club" in the '90s. She admitted to feeling like the "least talented one" among future stars such as Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling, but valued the experience for helping her maintain "sanity" and "dignity."

Matthew Rhys echoed Russell's sentiments, agreeing that their "level of life" offers a "perfect balance." Both actors appreciate the highs and lows of their careers, understanding the fragility and unpredictability of the entertainment industry, which fosters gratitude for the work they do receive.
