- The property sold for $10.5 million in 2003 and later listed for $20 million.
Kenny Rogers' passion for real estate was evident in his Beaver Dam Farms estate, located in Colbert, Georgia. Rogers acquired the land in 1983, initially intending it as a personal retreat. Over 15 years, he transformed it into a remarkable property.
The centerpiece became an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course, designed with Augusta National in mind. This course even hosted the "Kenny Rogers Classic Weekend," attracting celebrities like Michael Jordan and Woody Harrelson.
Beyond the golf course, Beaver Dam Farms boasted a main residence exceeding 13,000 square feet. It also featured an expansive 72,000-square-foot equestrian center with comprehensive facilities and seven guest homes.
In 2003, Rogers sold the estate for $10.5 million to Wes Adams. After Adams' passing, his estate listed the property in 2011 for $20 million. Despite languishing on the market for years, it was eventually sold via auction in 2016.
