Ken Carson Announces 'xperiment' Album & Short Film

Rapper Ken Carson has revealed his upcoming album, titled "xperiment," scheduled for release on July 3 via Opium/Interscope Records. A short film teasing the project has also been released.

This announcement follows a significant week for the Atlanta-born artist. He recently joined Playboi Carti on stage at Summer Smash in Chicago to perform an unreleased track. Furthermore, Carson is slated to headline ComplexCon 2026 on October 3, celebrating the festival's 10th anniversary.

"xperiment" succeeds Carson's 2025 album "More Chaos," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking his first top 10 entry. The momentum for "More Chaos" was boosted by the surprise bonus track "Off the Meter," a collaboration with Playboi Carti and Destroy Lonely.

Carson recently delivered a notable performance at Rolling Loud Orlando 2026, previewing new music from "xperiment" and performing tracks from his previous albums. The set featured guest appearances from artists like Young Thug and Playboi Carti. Beyond music, Carson has expanded his influence through extensive touring and fashion collaborations.
