Ripa candidly confessed that the unexpected skincare venture did not deliver the expected age-defying results, stating she felt "just as old as before." She humorously attributed the decision to "desperate times call for desperate measures."

This revelation follows Ripa's earlier discussion about cosmetic interventions. In February 2025, she spoke about using Botox not only on her face for wrinkles but also initially in her armpits to manage sweating, a practice she found beneficial and later expanded to her facial features.
