This appearance marked his return to the Ryman since the finale of his show, 'The Road.'

Urban's performance occurred shortly after his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, was seen holding hands with her long-time friend and "Scarpetta" co-star, Simon Baker, at a New York City premiere. Kidman expressed her desire to work with Baker on a substantial project, calling him her love interest in the film.

Meanwhile, Kidman's eldest daughter, Sunday, recently lauded her mother's creative influence in an interview. Following their divorce in September 2025, court documents detailed a custody arrangement granting Kidman primary care of their daughters, Sunday and Faith, for most of the year in Nashville, which Kidman considers her home.
