Keith Urban has officially signed with Crush Music for his management needs. This significant career shift follows the recent announcement of Borman Entertainment, his home for the past 25 years, ceasing operations after a 50-year run. Borman Entertainment's founder, Gary Borman, is retiring, prompting the closure.
Crush Music, co-founded by Jonathan Daniel and Bob McLynn, is known for managing a roster heavy in pop and rock genres, boasting clients such as Miley Cyrus, Sia, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Weezer, Alanis Morissette, and Lorde. Jonathan Daniel expressed excitement about managing Urban, describing the effort as "a full coast-to-coast plus Nashville effort" and calling Urban a "guitar hero."
Urban previously shared his gratitude for his 25-year tenure at Borman Entertainment, acknowledging the "incredible and successful time together" and the "creative and collaborative spirit" shared with his Borman Nashville family. He wished Gary Borman and the entire team the best for their future endeavors.
Urban, an Australia native, has achieved significant recognition in the country music scene, including two Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year awards, 21 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, and four Grammy Awards. He is also slated to speak at the Country Radio Seminar in Nashville in April, focusing on his support for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
