Keerthy Suresh Wins Top Tamil Nadu State Film Award

Keerthy Suresh, a National Award-winning actress, recently received her inaugural Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actress. This prestigious honor recognizes her outstanding performance in the 2017 Tamil film Paambu Sattai, where she portrayed the character Veni. Suresh expressed profound gratitude via a social media post, thanking the Government of Tamil Nadu, the film's director, producers, and her team.

The award ceremony, officially held at Chennai's Kalaivanar Arangam, marks a significant achievement for the versatile actress. This state award follows her earlier National Film Award win for her portrayal of Savitri in Mahanati (2018). Suresh is now gearing up for upcoming projects, including Yash Raj Films' web show Akka, and other anticipated films.

Her upcoming projects also include Rowdy Janardhana with Vijay Deverakonda, Thottam with Antony Varghese Pepe, and collaborations with Praveen S. Vijaay and Mysskin. Reports also suggest a potential project with Rajkummar Rao.
