Worldwide sales are being managed by Beta Cinema for the forthcoming English-language investigative thriller, "Keep Her Quiet." The film stars Zar Amir, Jonathan Pryce, and Amir El-Masry, bringing together acclaimed talent for a story with significant international relevance.
"Keep Her Quiet" centers on a journalist based in Washington, D.C., whose investigation into mysterious disappearances in Western China places her and her loved ones at risk. The narrative is deeply rooted in the true experiences of journalists who exposed the crisis in Xinjiang and draws from survivor testimonies about China's ongoing "re-education" initiatives.
Directed by Franz Böhm and co-directed by Uyghur filmmaker Suli Kurban, the project boasts a strong creative team. The film is currently in post-production, with distribution already secured for German-speaking territories through partnerships with Pandora Film, Filmladen Filmverleih, and Filmcoopi.
