Keanu Reeves Admits He Rarely Watches His Iconic Movies

According to a recent discussion at The New Yorker Festival, acclaimed actor Keanu Reeves, 61, has a surprising habit when it comes to his own films. Reeves revealed that he does not often sit down to watch his past movies, even well-known titles like the 1991 action film "Point Break" and the "Matrix" franchise.
"No, I mean, maybe while I'm scrolling or moving and thinking, 'There, oh yes, Point Break is on,'" Reeves explained onstage, adding a similar sentiment about "The Matrix Reloaded." However, he clarified, "I haven't like just put one on."
Reeves' "Bill & Ted" co-star Alex Winter, 60, echoed a similar sentiment, stating, "I don't really, I don't. I don't like watching myself much, so I don't tend to watch stuff I've done." Winter did make an exception to see a recent screening in a special theater, but he described feeling a "complete disconnection" from his own work.
The two actors have reunited for a Broadway production of "Waiting for Godot," 35 years after their first collaboration in 1989's "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure." In the play, they portray the characters Estragon and Vladimir, who pass time waiting for a mysterious figure named Godot to arrive.
