Kerala's Kaziah Liz Mejo Crowned Miss Universe India 2026

Kaziah Liz Mejo, a 19-year-old from Kerala, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2026. She emerged victorious after competing against 52 finalists from across India at a grand finale event held in Jaipur. Mejo will now have the honor of representing India at the 75th Miss Universe pageant. This prestigious international competition is set to take place in Puerto Rico in November. Mejo expressed her elation, calling it an iconic moment she has worked towards for over three years. She emphasized her determination to bring the Miss Universe crown home to India and represent her home state of Kerala with pride. The judging panel included notable personalities such as Sushmita Sen and Urvashi Rautela. Vaishnavi Gannesh was named the first runner-up.
