Katy Perry and Lauren Sánchez's Interstellar Friendship: From Dubrovnik to Space

Katy Perry and Lauren Sánchez, two high-profile figures, have maintained a close friendship since 2023. The pair first traveled together to Dubrovnik, Croatia, and then to Sardinia, Italy, on Bezos' $500 million yacht the following year.

Their friendship reached new heights in April 2025 when they flew to space together as part of an all-female crew on Bezos' Blue Origin rocket. The crew also included journalist Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn. The experience bonded Perry and Sánchez even further, with Perry later attending Sánchez's bachelorette party in Paris.

While Perry was unable to attend Sánchez and Bezos' lavish wedding in Venice in June 2025 due to her performance schedule in Australia, their friendship remains strong. The two continue to support each other, with Perry recently celebrating Sánchez's birthday with heartfelt social media posts.
