Kattalan Release Rumors Intensify: May 28th Target?

Director Paul George's pan-Indian Malayalam film 'Kattalan,' featuring Antony Varghese in the lead, is reportedly targeting a May 28 release this year. Rumors gained momentum following social media shares of a poster indicating this date. Earlier, the film was rumored for a May 14 release, but official confirmation is still pending from the producers.

The production has seen a change in its musical direction, with ace composer Ravi Basrur joining the unit. He replaces Ajaneesh Loknath, who was previously announced as the film's music director. Filming for 'Kattalan' was officially wrapped up in February of this year. The film is an ambitious venture from producer Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments, known for the blockbuster 'Marco'.

'Kattalan' boasts a strong ensemble cast, including Rajisha Vijayan, Rapper Baby Jean, Telugu actor Sunil, Kabir Duhan Singh, Jagadeesh, and Siddique. The story, penned by Paul George, Joby Varghese, and Jero Jacob, promises a gritty narrative blending raw energy with cinematic vision, focusing on themes of power, betrayal, and deadly missions. The technical crew includes Sharief for choreography, Dhanya Balakrishnan for costumes, Renadive for cinematography, and Shameer Muhammed for editing.
