Katseye Ignites Dublin on Wildworld Tour Debut

Katseye commenced their global Wildworld Tour last night with a sold-out show at Dublin's 3Arena. This highly anticipated tour opener occurred just days after the group canceled their appearance at the Daisy Chain Fields Festival in California due to member Megan Skiendiel's sprained ankle. Skiendiel, however, was healthy enough to perform in Dublin alongside group members Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung, and Lara Raj. Sophia Laforteza was absent due to a previously announced hiatus.

The concert showcased Katseye's energy with performances of singles like "Hootie Frutti," "Gabriela," "Pinky Up," and "Gnarly." The show also included individual dance breaks from the members, highlighting their diverse talents. This tour supports their most recent EP, "Wild," released on August 14, which includes the singles "Animal" and "Pinky Up." The group has described "Wild" as a new, mature era for Katseye. The Wildworld Tour is set to span cities across North America and Europe. Following the Dublin debut, the tour includes two nights at London's O2 on September 3 and 4, and the North American leg begins on October 13 in Miami. The group expressed excitement and some nervousness about performing on larger arena stages, anticipating the tour's impact.

Jeung shared on The Tonight Show that the realization of embarking on their first arena tour will likely hit them once they arrive on stage, acknowledging the larger venue and increased excitement.
