Injury Forces Katseye Out of Olivia Rodrigo Fest

Pop supergroup Katseye has canceled their scheduled performance at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields music festival on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The group announced their withdrawal via Instagram Stories and WeVerse, citing an injury to member Megan Skiendiel.

Skiendiel sprained her ankle during tour rehearsal and was advised by doctors to stay off it to allow for proper healing. Katseye expressed their heartbreak at disappointing fans, especially given their excitement for Rodrigo's festival and its mission of joy and community.

This marks another setback for Katseye, which debuted as a six-member group but is currently down two members. Manon Bannerman is on an indefinite hiatus for health and wellbeing, while Sophia Laforteza stepped away earlier this summer to focus on mental health.

Olivia Rodrigo's festival, announced in June following the release of her album "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love," will feature an all-women lineup including Chappell Roan, Mitski, Doechii, Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks. All proceeds from the one-day event in Irvine will go to charities benefiting women and girls. Rodrigo is a vocal advocate for women's rights and has directed significant profits from her "Guts" tour to women's rights organizations through her nonprofit Fund 4 Good.
