KATSEYE Shocks Fans with Surprise Daisy Chain Fields Appearance

KATSEYE members Yoonchae, Lara, and Megan made an unexpected appearance at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields festival on Saturday, August 29th. The trio attended despite an ankle injury sustained by Megan during rehearsal, which had led to the group's withdrawal from performing.

During their brief time on stage, the members introduced the nonprofit organization Baby2Baby, which provides essential items to children facing poverty. Megan shared her disappointment about not performing but emphasized the group's support for the event and the community Rodrigo had built.

This appearance followed KATSEYE's announcement on Thursday that Megan's sprained ankle would prevent them from participating in the festival. Doctors had advised Megan to rest her ankle to ensure it healed in time for an upcoming tour.

The group's EP, WILD, recently achieved its first No. 1 position on the Billboard 200 chart. KATSEYE's current active lineup includes Yoonchae, Lara, Megan, and Daniela, while Manon and Sophia are currently on hiatus for personal wellness and mental health respectively. The festival itself, held in Irvine, California, raised $10 million for ten different nonprofit organizations supporting women.
