Summary
- KATSEYE postponed Chicago and Minneapolis concerts due to Megan's concussion.
- Existing tickets and VIP packages are valid for rescheduled dates.
- This follows previous cancellations citing Megan's health issues.
KATSEYE has postponed their scheduled performances in Chicago and Minneapolis, citing member Megan Skiendiel's recovery from a concussion. The United Center in Chicago and Target Center in Minneapolis announced the postponements, assuring ticketholders that their existing tickets and VIP packages would be valid for future rescheduled dates. Refunds will be provided to those unable to attend the new performances.
The group confirmed Skiendiel's condition via Instagram Stories, expressing sincere apologies to their fans for the disappointment. They acknowledged the considerable effort many fans made to attend, including traveling long distances. The band is working to confirm new dates for the postponed shows soon.
These recent cancellations add to a pattern of health-related postponements for KATSEYE. Previously, the group canceled a Detroit show on November 3rd due to Megan's condition. In August, KATSEYE withdrew from the Daisy Chain Fields festival after Skiendiel sustained an ankle sprain during tour rehearsals, requiring her to avoid performing.
Individual members Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman have also taken extended breaks from performing to focus on their mental and physical well-being. KATSEYE is currently on their Wildworld Tour, which kicked off its North American leg on October 13th.
