Katie O'Connell Marsh to Lead Fremantle's Global Scripted

Katie O'Connell Marsh is set to become the CEO of Fremantle's Global Scripted Hub, a newly established division focused on drama and film. She will officially assume the role in August and will relocate to London for the position.

In her new capacity, O'Connell Marsh will be responsible for providing creative, commercial, and strategic direction for Fremantle's various scripted labels. She will also manage the company's annual scripted investment budget, recommending expenditures for projects and third-party opportunities.

O'Connell Marsh brings extensive experience in the scripted television sector, with a proven track record of backing premium, commercially successful series. Her expertise is expected to help build a more connected global scripted business for Fremantle.

This appointment comes as Fremantle continues to expand its scripted slate, aiming to strengthen its position as a leader in premium storytelling. Her predecessor, Christian Vesper, had been instrumental in developing numerous shows and films during his tenure.
