Rick Hilton confronted three burglars who broke into his home on the evening of November 15, while his wife Kathy was away for BravoCon. Hearing glass shatter, Rick retrieved a shotgun and ordered the intruders out, stating police were on their way. The burglars, who had entered through broken glass and doors, fled as security arrived. Hilton fired shots in the air after the suspects escaped.
This home invasion occurred on the same night fellow "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Sutton Stracke's home was also burglarized. Stracke was also attending BravoCon when individuals entered her home through a kitchen window, stealing luxury handbags and fine jewelry. She is cooperating with the ongoing police investigation.
