Summary
- Woman claims permanent leg injury from fall at Hilton estate sale.
- Lawsuit alleges uneven pavement caused violent fall during estate sale.
- Guest seeks medical costs and unspecified damages from socialite.

Socialite Kathy Hilton is facing a lawsuit from a woman who claims to have suffered permanent injuries after falling at an estate sale hosted at Hilton's Bel-Air residence in August 2024. The plaintiff alleges that her foot became trapped on uneven pavement, leading to a "violent" fall and a complex medial meniscus tear in her right knee.
The lawsuit, filed by Kimberly Heffington, asserts that Hilton was negligent by failing to provide adequate warning or safety signs for the uneven pavement. Heffington is seeking reimbursement for her medical expenses and an unspecified amount of damages. The estate sale, intended to raise funds for The Los Angeles Mission and Yogi's House-L.A. Dog Rescue, required a $25 donation for entry and featured a variety of designer items.
This legal action follows a series of security incidents involving cast members of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." In November 2025, Hilton's home was burglarized, with thieves escaping before police arrived. Similarly, castmates Sutton Stracke and Teddi Mellencamp also experienced home invasions around the same time, with items like luxury handbags and jewelry stolen.
