Kathy Griffin Recounts Dave Grohl Airport Snub

Kathy Griffin has recounted a past awkward encounter with Foo Fighters musician Dave Grohl, whom she described as a "former friend." Griffin shared on her YouTube series that she ran into Grohl at JFK Airport following her 2017 "scandal" involving a satirical photo of her holding a fake severed head resembling Donald Trump.

According to Griffin, Grohl appeared to ignore her at the airport newsstand and later on their shared flight, leading her to believe he was distancing himself due to the Trump photo controversy. She acknowledged Grohl's musical talent but questioned his character as a public figure.

Separately, Dave Grohl has maintained a low public profile on Instagram since September 2024, when he announced he had fathered a child outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum. He expressed a commitment to his new daughter and to regaining his family's trust.

Griffin is known for sharing celebrity anecdotes. Previously, she alleged that Barbara Walters physically kicked her under a table during a taping of 'The View.'
