Comedian Katherine Ryan, aged 42, has revealed undergoing a full facelift and a small blepharoplasty procedure, including fat transfer to her cheekbone area. This significant cosmetic surgery occurred just eight weeks after the birth of her fourth child, Holland, in October. Ryan described the decision as a way to emotionally and physically 'reclaim her identity' and her face from before the last five years, which included six pregnancies and three miscarriages.
The £16,000 facelift was performed by consultant plastic surgeon Dr. Nick Rhodes at the Coppergate Clinic in York. Ryan sought to regain her appearance from prior to COVID-19 and her recent pregnancies, noting her husband Bobby Kootstra remained physically unchanged. She experienced minimal pain and swelling, resuming daily activities, including attending Christmas parties and traveling, within weeks of the surgery.
