Katherine LaNasa shared in a recent interview that she believes she was haunted by the ghost of her former husband, Dennis Hopper, for an extended period. The actress, who was married to Hopper from 1989 to 1992, described initial encounters as frightening, including a vision of him in a wheelchair at the Academy Awards.
LaNasa eventually told Hopper's spirit to leave her alone, after which the apparitions ceased. She later encountered a gallery featuring his photographs, with one image of him winking at the camera, which she felt signified his release of her. The hauntings concluded with a final dream where Hopper appeared, stating he was okay and no longer in pain.
Hopper, who was married four times, passed away in May 2010 at age 74. LaNasa has since married actor Grant Show, with whom she has a daughter. She also had a son, Henry Lee Hopper, with Dennis Hopper.
