In 'Song Sung Blue,' Hudson and Hugh Jackman portray a couple who find love while performing as a Neil Diamond tribute band. This role has already garnered Hudson nominations for a Golden Globe and an Actor award, with festival executive director Roger Durling calling it a "career redefining performance."
Since her breakout role as Penny Lane in 'Almost Famous' over 25 years ago, Hudson has built a popular career in romantic comedies and has also starred in musical dramas and murder mysteries. Her upcoming TV series, 'Running Point,' also began in 2025.
