Kate Hudson has opened the doors to her cherished $6 million Pacific Palisades home, a property she grew up in.
She shared a series of photographs from the beach-view residence on February 27, highlighting her kitchen and expressing her joy at being home. Hudson was raised in the Pacific Palisades property by her parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
The couple later sold the home, but Hudson repurchased it in 2005 and acquired the adjacent property in 2011, creating an expansive estate.
Hudson explained her decision to honor the home's original design after witnessing significant fire damage to other historic houses in the Palisades. She felt a profound sense of nostalgia upon returning to the house.
Her foundational memories were made in this house with extended family. Hudson currently resides there with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, and her two younger children, Bingham and Rani, while her eldest son, Ryder, is away at college.
