Kate's New Chapter: Beyond Below Deck

Kate Chastain, formerly of Below Deck, has revealed that her life has significantly changed since her departure from the show in 2020. She is no longer involved in yachting and dedicates her time to her 2-year-old son, Sullivan. Chastain stated, "I don't have time for anyone" due to her demanding schedule as a mother.

Chastain spoke highly of Captain Sandy Yawn, describing her as a talented captain with exceptional skills in navigating and docking, particularly citing her proficiency in 'Med mooring' in the Mediterranean. Chastain believes Captain Sandy is the best captain in any Below Deck franchise.

Regarding her past friendship with Captain Lee Rosbach, Chastain attributed their drifting apart to their busy lives and diverging paths. She mentioned that while they once shared common ground in yachting, their current circumstances no longer provide that shared focus, stating, "The ship has sailed."

Currently, Chastain is appearing on season 3 of E!'s House of Villains, a show she found more enjoyable than The Traitors. She recommended that potential participants interested in both shows should consider The Traitors first for a different experience.
