Actress Kate Beckinsale recently shared a series of unsettling posts on her social media accounts. On Sunday, September 20, 2026, she posted a black background with "bye" in white lettering on her Instagram feed. This was followed by a story featuring a rainbow, accompanied by the text, "Congratulations you won. I give up." The specific reasons or subjects behind these cryptic messages remain unclear.
These latest posts follow a significant digital detox in August, when Beckinsale deleted nearly all content from her Instagram. During that period, she had also addressed negative comments regarding her physical appearance. She noted that weight loss can be a sign of bereavement, referencing the recent death of her mother. Beckinsale had also previously disclosed her diagnosis of mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
