Beckinsale shared a series of photos on Instagram, saying the crew "treated her like the queen she was" and supported her in balancing her mother's care at night with her work during the day. Loe had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
The Underworld star announced her mother's death in an emotional social media post in July 2025, two days after Loe's passing. Beckinsale described her mother as "the compass of my life, the love of my life, my dearest friend." She had been caring for Loe in her final days.

In the upcoming thriller Wildcat, Beckinsale plays a woman who reunites with her former black-ops team to pull off a desperate heist and save a young girl's life. The film is set to be released in theaters and on digital platforms on November 25, 2025.
