Kat Von D Fire Dispute: Candles vs. Faulty Wires

Teva Barnea has publicly accused tattoo artist Kat Von D of negligence, alleging she was responsible for a significant fire that damaged a California castle in 2010. Barnea claimed that Von D's extensive use of candles throughout the property was the cause of the blaze. He further alleged that the fire and subsequent legal processes contributed to his mother's cancer returning, leading to her death, and described Von D as a "mean person" who sent his mother "hateful emails."

Kat Von D responded to the accusations, stating she was not in the home when the fire occurred, as she was on a book tour. She asserted that the fire was likely caused by faulty wiring or an electrical panel issue. Barnea has since presented what he claims is an official fire report, indicating that candles were the only identified ignition source in the fire's origin area. Von D has not yet responded to this latest claim.
