Delegates of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 recently undertook a cultural and educational tour of Bharat Kala Bhavan at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). This visit provided an in-depth exploration of the artistic and historical connections between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, focusing on significant South Indian art forms and traditional crafts.
The delegates marveled at celebrated Chola bronze sculptures and the iconic Nataraja statue. They also viewed rare photographs and artifacts in the Malaviya Gallery, offering insights into Madan Mohan Malaviya's life and his foundational role in establishing BHU. A special exhibition, 'Ganga - Cauvery Synchronicity,' vividly presented the profound cultural and spiritual links connecting these two major Indian rivers.
