Karuppu Finally Released After Major Delays

The highly anticipated film Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, has officially been released in theaters on May 15th. This release follows a tumultuous period marked by delays and cancellations that affected screenings across Tamil Nadu on the initially planned release date of May 14th.

Financial difficulties experienced by the producers were cited as the primary reason for the cancellation of all morning and afternoon shows on May 14th. Dream Warrior Pictures, the production house, issued a public apology to audiences for the extended wait, acknowledging the emotional toll of the delays and expressing profound gratitude for the unwavering support and belief.

The production house stated that the film represents their 'blood, sweat, sleepless nights, struggles, and emotions.' Suriya and director RJ Balaji also shared messages on social media, confirming the May 15th release and thanking fans for their patience and support.

Adding to the release day's drama, the film was reportedly screened in Mumbai, Pune, and Varanasi without the production house's authorization. Dream Warrior Pictures and its legal team have issued notices to combat piracy concerns, warning against the sharing of leaked content.
