Saif Ali Khan Shines in Flawed 'Kartavya'

Set in the city of Jhamli, 'Kartavya' delves into a system plagued by caste-based honor killings and a charismatic spiritual leader. The narrative follows SHO Pawan, portrayed by Saif Ali Khan, a police officer navigating political pressure, corruption, and personal guilt.

The film presents two distinct, compelling stories that struggle to merge, creating a disjointed viewing experience. One track focuses on Pawan's internal struggle with duty and morality amidst a decaying system. The other explores ordinary men caught in extraordinary circumstances, featuring performances from Sanjay Mishra and Rasika Duggal.
