A fan account based in Brazil, known for its humor, recently caused significant confusion by posting a fabricated announcement that Colombian superstar Karol G had come out as bisexual. This false report was then unfortunately amplified by several news outlets, leading many to believe the TQG singer had indeed revealed her sexuality.

Following the spread of the misinformation, screenshots emerged allegedly showing Karol G's team at Bichota Records contacting the fan account. The messages reportedly asked the account to retract the false information, stating it was untrue and emphasizing the account's role as a humor page, not a news source.

The fan account has since issued a public apology for their actions. They acknowledged crossing a line regarding sensitive personal topics and clarified that their profile serves for entertainment and satire, not as a factual information medium. They specifically addressed the speculations about Karol G's sexuality, confirming them to be false.
