Karavali Utsava 2025: 40 Days of Coastal Fun Unveiled!

Dakshina Kannada district is embracing a festive atmosphere with the launch of the 40-day Karavali Utsava 2025, beginning December 21st. This grand celebration, inaugurated by district minister Dinesh Gundu Rao, is designed as a cultural, fun, and extravagant event spread across various locations. Daily cultural programs will run from December 21st to January 2nd at the Karavali Utsava ground, complemented by an exhibition extending until January 20th.

Unique attractions include planned Heli Rides from December 23rd to January 2nd, a cake and wine fest on December 21st, and a Zumba event on December 27th. The festival will also feature beach sports like football and volleyball, alongside food festivals on December 27th and 28th. Music lovers can anticipate performances by Kailash Kher, Vijay Prakash, and Javed Ali, interspersed with events like a sand sculpture competition.

Further enriching the Utsava are a start-up conclave, talent shows, sporting events, and a triathlon from January 9th to 11th. Art enthusiasts can explore Kala Parba from January 9th to 11th, while beach races and a food festival are scheduled for January 10th and 11th. An International Kite Festival and a dance festival are also slated for January, ensuring a continuous stream of engaging activities until the end of the month.
