Karan Johar's Wedding Buffet Shock: Never Eaten At One!

Filmmaker Karan Johar, a prominent figure associated with extravagant Bollywood wedding celebrations, shared an unexpected personal detail – he has never consumed a meal at a wedding buffet. This candid revelation occurred during a recent discussion with actors Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat on The Manyavar Shaadi Show. Johar expressed that the prospect of standing in long queues with a plate makes him feel uneasy, leading him to avoid eating at such events.

Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat, on the other hand, highlighted good food as a non-negotiable aspect of their own wedding plans. Kharbanda affectionately described Samrat as 'Annapurna,' emphasizing his generous nature in ensuring guests feel comfortable and well-fed. The couple humorously noted how guests often make long journeys to the buffet only to select a few items.

Johar's admission is particularly striking given his recent involvement in hosting the opulent wedding of US billionaire Rama Raju Mantena's daughter, Netra Mantena, in Udaipur. This star-studded event featured performances by notable Indian celebrities and even an appearance by international pop star Jennifer Lopez. Meanwhile, Johar is also preparing for his next production, 'Tu Meri Main Tera Tu Meri,' slated for release this Christmas.
