According to early estimates, the film collected around ₹2.50 crore on its 28th day at the domestic box office, taking its total to ₹599.15 crore. The film has seen a decline in occupancy across various language versions, including Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil.
Meanwhile, the makers have announced that Kantara Chapter 1 will be available on OTT platforms starting October 31. Fans can look forward to witnessing the "legendary adventure of Berme," the character played by Rishab Shetty, in both the original Kannada version and dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
In a recent conversation, acclaimed director Atlee shared his admiration for Rishab Shetty's work, calling him a "wonderful inspiration for all filmmakers." Atlee, who watched the film on the very first day, praised Shetty's execution and the challenges he overcame as both the director and the lead actor.
