The mythological drama, set in the 4th Century AD, has also broken 5 major box office records in this short span. It has surpassed its predecessor, Kantara, to become the third-highest-grossing Kannada film worldwide. Additionally, it has overtaken the horror-comedy Su From So to become the highest-grossing Kannada film of 2025. Kantara Chapter 1 is now the second-highest-grossing South Indian film worldwide, settling below Rajinikanth's Coolie, and the second-highest-grossing Kannada franchise with a cumulative gross total of 910.7 crore.
