Rishab Shetty's directorial Kantara Chapter 1 has been making waves at the Hindi box office, crossing the 50-crore mark in just 3 days since its release. The period mythological action drama has witnessed an impressive surge in its performance, with a 48% jump in earnings on Saturday compared to its first working Friday.

Kantara Chapter 1 is currently facing competition from other releases like Jolly LLB 3 and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, but it has unabashedly dominated the Hindi belt. The film's overall collection has now surged to 53 crores net, with a gross total of 60.36 crores. At this pace, Kantara Chapter 1 is poised to surpass its predecessor Kantara (81.10 crores) and set a new franchise-best collection at the Hindi box office.

Notably, Rishab Shetty's directorial has emerged as the highest-grossing South film of 2025 in the Hindi market, surpassing the lifetime collection of Game Changer (37.47 crores) and Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 (47.15 crores). The film's impressive performance has solidified its position as a must-watch for audiences in the Hindi belt.
